Welcome to Lei's Little Library

Our Mission

At Lei’s Little Library, we believe every child deserves to feel seen, celebrated, and safe—on every single page. Founded by clinical social worker, author, and Ed.D candidate Leisa Walker-Akinrolabu, Lei’s Little Library creates picture books and resources that honor diversity, emotional wellness, and imaginative play. Whether your child is navigating big feelings, learning to love what makes them different, or dreaming of who they’ll become—there’s a story here for them! Explore our growing collection of: Inclusive picture books featuring culturally diverse characters, Free Parent & Teacher Guides with SEL-aligned activities, and Tools for developing inclusive and affirming classrooms. Because when children feel safe to be themselves, their brightest stories begin.
